Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 25, 1975.
The wooden bucket ('Kübel') is taken from the arms of the two former municipalities Kübelberg and Schönenberg. The blue and silver colours, the colours of Bayern, are also taken from the previous arms.
The wavy bend symbolises the many waters in the area, the Ohmtal Lake and the clean groundwater. The black cross is the symbol of the Teutonic Knights and indicates the historical possessions of the Order in the municipality. The flower indicates the nature and tourism.
