Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1998.
Historically there were four baking ovens in the village, one at the end of a street, the Seestraße, the Storkower, the Eichwalder and the Köpenicker Straße. The four streets and the oven in the first and fourth quarter symbolise this fact. The oak tree is the old oak in the centre of the village.
The second and third quarter symbolise the Seddinsee lake, which borders the village.
