HEYERODE

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Unstrut-Hainich Kreis

Wappen von Heyerode/Arms (crest) of Heyerode
Official blazon

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 19, 1993.

The mill iron is taken from the arms of the city of Mühlhausen, as the village belonged for many years to the Mühlhausen district. The wheel refers to the State of Mainz as the area historically belonged to the dioces and state of Mainz. The oak tree is derived from the old village seal.
