KLEINNIEDERSHEIM
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Hessheim
German | In Gold ein grüner Eichenzweig mit zwei grünen Eicheln und einem grünen Eichenblatt. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1931 or 1932.
The arms show an oak leaf and two acorns. Klein- and grossniedGrossniedesheim belonged until the late 18th century to the Falkenstein district and formed together one jurisdiction. The common seal already showed the acorn branch. Both villages thus use arms based on this seal. The meaning, however, of the oak branch is not known.
Literature: Debus, 1988
