English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 15, 1956 (to Mandelsloh über dem See).
The horn is taken from the arms and crest of the Counts von Mandersloh, who have been of great importance for the village for many centuries. The wheatears refer to the agricultural character of the village. The horn and crest of the Von Mandersloh family was also used by the Dutch village Aarlanderveen.
