Official blazon
German In Rot ein schrägrechts gelegter geflügelter silberner Pfeil.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of the Von Weddingen family, which became extinct in the 17th century. The colours are those of the State of Magdeburg, to which the area historically belonged.
