District (Kreis) : Tuttlingen (until 1971 Donaueschingen)
Additions : 1936 Amtenhausen
Incorporated into : 1971 Immendingen

Wappen von Zimmern (Immendingen)/Arms (crest) of Zimmern (Immendingen)
Official blazon
German In Gold mit silber-blauem Wolkenbord ein rot bezungter schwarzer Bärenrumpf.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed in 1900 by the State Archives, as no historical arms or seals were known.

The cloudy bordure is taken from the arms of the Princes of Fürstenberg, to whom the area historically belonged. The bear is the symbol of St. Gallus, the local patron saint.
