In Rot ein silberner Schräglinksbalken, belegt mit zwei ineinandergeschlungenen roten Ringen. Oben eine silberne Kirche im Umriss der ehemaligen Pfarrkirche. Unten eine goldene Krone.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1992.

The church is the local church, a landmark in the area. The crown refers to St. Mary, the local patron saint. The two rings refer to the Himmerod Abbey, which owned a large part of the area from medieval times until 1795.
