LORDSHIP WERLE
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The Lordship was situated in the current state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern around the village of Werle. It was ruled by a branch of the House of Mecklenbrug. In 1436 it came to Mecklenburg-Schwerin. The arms show the bull's head of Mecklenburg, but placed diagonally, which was part of the arms of Mecklenburg-Schwerin until 1918.
