Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 1, 1982.

The arms show the local patron saint, St. Nicholas, which already appeard on the 17th century seal of Duchroth and Obehausen.

Until 1981 the village used slightly different arms with the sain. These arms were not officially granted.
