German | In Grün ein silberner Wolfskopf mit roter Zunge. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 11, 1954.
The wolf's head is a canting symbol (Wülf soulds like Wolf). It was designed in 1954 as no historical arms or seals were known. The colours were chosen arbitrarily.
