GROSS LINDOW
State : Brandenburg
District (Kreis) : Oder-Spree
Amt : Amt Brieskow-Finkenheerd
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 13, 2004.
The linden branches are a canting element. The wavy bend symbolises the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Kanal which runs through the municipality.
Initially the villagers of Weißenspring wanted to be represented in the arms with a small wheel. This was not rewarded and thus not incorporated in the arms.
