LEDERHOSE
State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Greiz
German | In Gold eine grüne Hose mit Trägern und Brustlatz (Lederhose). |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 22, 2004.
The Lederhose ('leather breeches') is a typical German/Central European type of trousers, and thus a clear canting symbol. The trousers already appeared in the seal from 1846.
Literature: Ulle, 2011
