German Geteilt von Silber über Grün; oben gold bewehrte und rotgezungte rote Adler, die Flügel mit goldenen Kleestengeln belegt; unten zwei versetzt nebeneinander fliegen de rotbewehrte silberne Schwäne

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 18, 1994.

The upper part shows the eagle of Brandenburg, the two swans are the symbol for the rich nature in the district, with its many streams and lakes. The arms were already used by the Oranienburg district, but not officially granted.
