Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on July 15, 1994. The wild boar is taken from the seal of the village used until 1952. It probably symbolises the rich wildlife in the nearby forests. The chief symbolises the typical Fachwerk architecture in the area. The two crosses stand for the two villages in the municipality.
