REICHENBACH UNTER RECHBERG
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Göppingen
Incorporated into : 1975 Donzdorf
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 12, 1956.
As there were no historical arms or seals known, the arms were designed in 1956. The red lion is taken from the arms of the Von Rechberg family. The village was a possession of the family until the 16th century. The family also owned the local castle, and the municipality is also named after the Rechberg. The key is the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
