The arms were officially granted on July 7, 1995.
The arms show a rising sun, which is a canting element. The village is well known for its never freezing thermal springs, which is symbolised in the lower half, with the waves surrounded by a wall. The whole combination thus is again canting; a sunny spa (Sonnige Brunnen).
