As no historical seals or arms were known, the arms were designed in 1982. The lower half shows the local church, dating from the 11<sup>th</sup> century. The upper half shows a falcon for the village of Falkenbusch in the municipality. The rose is the symbol of Martin Luther and symbolises the importance of Lutheran colonists for the development of the village.
