District (Kreis) : Gotha
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft : Mittleres Nessetal

Ballstad.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 19, 1995.

The arms show in the upper half three wheat-ears. These symbolise the agricultural character of the municipality. The golden bend symbolises the Tonna river, which originates in the municipality. The lower half shows a watermill wheel, symbol for the four former mills in the Tonna in the municipality.
