Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 9, 1957.

The oldest seal of the village dates from around 1820 and shows a badger with the letter D. The badger is taken from the arms of the Princes of Thürn and Taxis, whose ancestral castle is in Dischingen. The D obviously was the town's initial.

The new arms were proposed in 1956 and show the three knives taken from the arms of Melchior Tischinger from 1465, the oldest known lord of the manor. The meaning of the key is not known.
