Additions : 1969 Amt Burbach, Altenseelbach, Salchendorf, Struthütten, Wiederstein, Zeppenfeld

The arms were granted in 1969 and are identical to the arms of the former municipality of Altenseebach.

The diamonds are derived from the arms of the medieval Lords of Selbach, who played a major role in the local history.
