CALDEN
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Kassel
Additions : 1972 Ehrsten, Fürstenwald, Meimbressen, Obermeiser, Westuffeln
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 7, 1977.
The two axes symbolise the many woods in the municipality and the importance of forestry. The crown is a symbol for the Wilhelmsthal castle in the municipality, which was a possession of the Counts of Hessen.
