DACKENHEIM
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) :Bad Dürkheim
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Freinsheim
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 13, 1973.
The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village, known since 1513. The arms show the (former) patron saints of the local church, St. Mary and St. Catherine (with her attribute, the wheel). The star probably refers to the local court. The arms were already used since the early 20th century, but never granted before 1973.
