GEFELL

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Saale-Orla Kreis
Additions : 1997 Blintendorf, Dobareuth, Frössen, Gebersreuth, Göttengrün, Langgrün

Wappen von Gefell

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were devised in 1993.

The tower is derived from the old seals of the city, which are known since the early 16th century. The tower itself probably symbolises the 12th century church tower.
