In einem von Blau und Grün durch einen silbernen Wellen-Schräglinksbalken geteilten Schild oben ein silberner gerüsteter Krieger, in der Rechten eine Fahnenlanze haltend, sich mit der Linken auf einen Schild stützend und unten ein silbernes Mühlrad.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 30, 1995.
The arms show in the upper part the patron saint of the town, St. Mauritius. The lower part shows a wheel as a symbol for the four water mills that used to exist in the municipality. The wavy bar is the Lutter rievr.
