(de) Durch eine eingeschweifte rote Spitze, darin auf grünem Dreiberg drei goldene Roggenähren, gespalten; vorne in Silber ein linksgewendeter rot bewehrter schwarzer Biber, der einen silbernen Fisch im Maul hält, hinten geviert von Silber und Schwarz.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 30, 1985.
The three rye ears are canting (Rogge=rye). The black beaver is taken from the arms of the founder of the Roggenbueren Abbey, the Counts of Bibereck. The silver and black quarterings are taken from the arms of the (Hohen)Zollern family, and are taken from the arms of Countess Demutha von Zollern, wife of the founder of the abbey.
