Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 30, 1938.
The arms show a woman spinning flax into linen. The small village of Netze historically consisted of only a few farms. One of the crops grown on these farms was flax, and thus the village was well known for its home-made linnen. This was the reason why a spinning woman was taken as the arms of the village.
