Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ?
The upper part shows two red fleur-delys, taken from the arms of the city of Wemding. Historically the Wemding hospital had large possessions in the village. In 1467 the village was sold to the Dukes of Bayern. The orb in the lower half is taken from the large arms of Bayern from 1623.
