The arms were granted on August 16, 1929.

The rms are partly canting; the two crosiers and the green base symbolise the Bishop (Bischof) and meadow (Wiese) parts of the name.

The building is a typical shed used in the area. The colours are the colours of Bayern, as the village is part of Bayern since 1809.
