====Official blazon====
The pale wavy and the water wheel symbolize the Orpe river and the water mill at the "Udorfer Eisenhammer". The birch tree is a typical tree in the area, its stands further for the nature in the municipality. The star is the star of the Principality of [[Waldeck]], to which some parts of the village belonged in former times.

Origin/meaning

The municipality did not use arms. The arms above are village arms designed in the 1990s (?).

The pale wavy and the water wheel symbolize the Orpe river and the water mill at the "Udorfer Eisenhammer". The birch tree is a typical tree in the area, its stands further for the nature in the municipality. The star is the star of the Principality of Waldeck, to which some parts of the village belonged in former times.
