In grün zwei schräggekreuzte wachsende goldene Ähren.
Heimsheim received city rights in the late 13<sup>th</sup> century, which were confirmed in 1456. Probably at the same time the arms were devised and placed on the local seal. These showed to crossed arrows, pointed downwards.

When the arms were changed to wheat-ears I do not know. The wheat-ears are a canting symbol (for Heimsen).
