The oldest seal of the village, dating from the 16<sup>th</sup> century shows a horseshoe and an arrow-shaped village symbol. In the next seal, known from 1649, the latter had changed into a goose-foot. The rose also appeared in 1649. The colours were determined in 1915. The meaning of the rose is not known, it may be a symbol for the local court.
