Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 8, 1990.

The village was already a spa in Roman times, which is symbolised by the Roman wall structure in the upper part. It also refers to the medieval structures and chapel.

The falcon is a canting element for the Falkenlay mountain in the municipality.
