FITZBEK

State: Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis): Steinburg
Amt: Amt Kellinghusen (until 2008 Amt Kellinghusen-Land)

Wappen von Fitzbek/Arms (crest) of Fitzbek
Official blazon
German

Unter silbernem Schildhaupt, darin eine linksgewendete, liegende schwarze Damwildschaufel, in Grün ein silberner Mühlstein.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 21, 1992.

The upper part of the arms shows an antler as a symbol for the rich nature in the surrounding woods. The millstone in the lower half symbolises the watermill in the Mühlenau, which still exists.

Literature: Peters, 1974
