German Innerhalb eines mit 11 grünen Lindenblättern belegten goldenen Schildbordes in Grün drei zur Garbe gebundene goldene Kornähren.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1996.

The area is largely agricultural, which is symbolised by the green field and wheatears. The bordure shows 11 linden leaves, for the 11 municipalities in the Amt. The linden is a common tree in most of the villages.
