German In Blau ein silbernes Ankerkreuz, dass auf dem rechten Arm des Querbalkens eine silberne Kapelle mit roten Dächern und rotem Kreuz und unter dem rechten Querbalken einen goldenen rotbewehrten zwiegeschwänzten Löwen zeigt.

Origin/meaning

The arms were never used by the municipality, but are used as village arms.

The arms show a silver cross, probably symbolising the local patron saint, St. George. The small chapel (Kapelle) is a canting element and the lion is taken from the arms of the city of Geldern.
