German | In Blau eine goldene Zinnenmauer mit geöffnetem Tor und silbernen Flügeln, auf der Mauer zwei sechseckige goldene gezinnte Türme und je drei unbelichtete Fenster. Zwischen den Türmen auf der Mauer gestellt ein goldener Dreiecksgiebel, der in einer gekürzten goldenen Lilie ausläuft. Auf den Türmen wachsend je ein rotgekleideter goldenes Hifthorn blasender Turmwärter ein rotes Wappenschild mit einem silbernen aufgerichteten goldgekrönten doppelschwänzigen Löwen haltend. |

Origin/meaning
The arms show a typical medieval design of a city wall with hornblowers and the arms of the local ruler. The composition already appeared on the seal of the city from 1346. The small shield at the time showed the arms of the Lords of Kamenz (wing, see the district arms). Later seals show the lion of Bohemia, as the city became part of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The smaller seals of the city in the late 15th century only used the lion. <
