State: Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis): Rhein-Sieg Kreis
Incorporated into: 1970 Hennef (Sieg)

Wappen von Lauthausen/Arms (crest) of Lauthausen
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in July 1935.

The arms are canting, showing a man blowing loudly (laut) from a house (Haus), or better a chapel. The chapel was built around 1400 by Christian von Luythusen after whom the village later was named.
