Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 21, 1965.
The arms are based on the oldest known seals of the local court, dating from the 16th and 17th century. The goose-foot is a rather common village sign and probably was used as the locals have been breeding goose for several centuries. The first known coloured image dates from the late 19th century and showed the same colours as the present arms.
