Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 28, 1964.
The upper part shows the lion, which was used by several municipalities in the area, that received a large degree freedom in the 17th century. The small bar is the important road that runs through the municipality. The millstone symbolises the historical mill, the largest in the area, which was situated in Beinhorn.
