BAD WILDBAD
(formerly WILDBAD IM SCHWARZWALD)

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Calw
Additions : 1974 Aichelberg, Calmbach

Wappen von Bad Wildbad

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

After the merger in 1974 the arms were changed and officially granted on August 11, 1981. The basic design remained the same as in the previous arms below, but the colours were taken from the old arms of Calmbach.

In 1957 the previous arms were officially granted.

Wappen von Bad Wildbad

The oldest use of the arms of Wildbad date from 1441. The arms appear on the seal and show two pine trees and a fountain. The latter is a canting element (Bad=health resort, spa). Coloured images of the arms are known since 1596, but many different colours have been used through the centuries.
