In Silber eine bewurzelte grüne Buche, belegt mit einem goldenen Schild, darin ein abgerissener, rotbewehrter schwarzer Adlerkopf.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 15, 1972.

The arms were granted at the same day as the city rights and are canting; an eagle (Arend) and a beech (Buche).

The previous arms were granted on October 1, 1912 and show the same elements.
