  • (de) Im schwarzen Schildhaupt fünf durch silbernes Geflecht miteinander verbundene silberne Pfähle, darunter durch eine aufsteigende und eingeschweifte silberne Spitze gespalten in Rot und Blau.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 4, 1956.

The arms show the arms of the Lords of Absberg, who ruled the area for a long time. The chief shows a fence, for the Roman limes (border), which ran through the area.
