State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Schwarzwald-Baar Kreis (until 1973 Donaueschingen)
Incorporated into : 1974 Bad Dürrheim
German | In Gold mit blauem Wolkenbord ein oberhalber roter Löwe.
Origin/meaningThe arms were designed and adopted in 1898. The arms show the arms of the Lords von Baldingen within a bordure of Fürstenberg. The medieval castle of the Lords von Baldingen was in Unterbaldingen. Later the area became a possession of the Counts (later Princes) of Fürstenberg and came only in 1806 to Baden.
