Official blazon

  • (de) In Blau mit den Stielen schräggekreuzt ein silbernes Eichenblatt und eine gestielte silberne Eichel, die Kreuzung überdeckt von einem silbernen Hammer, darüber zwischen zwei goldenen Ähren ein goldenes Schildchen, drin links oben ein grüner Halbkeil und rechts unten ein grüner steigender Halbkeil.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 2, 2000.

The hammer in the arms symbolises the longe tradition of handicrafts in the village. The oak and the acorn symbolise the forestry, which is also of great local importance. The wheat-ears symbolise agriculture. The small shield shows the initial of the village, but at the same time symbolises the agriculture (gold) and forests (green) in the municipality
