Official blazon

In Blau auf grünem Hügel ein runder, torloser silberner Zinnenturm.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 18, 1838 by King Ludwig of Bayern.

As no historical seals or arms of the village were known, new arms were devised. The council applied for a combination of the Austrian arms and a tower. The area belonged for some centuries to Austria (as part of the County Burgau). The tower is the Roman tower in the municipality. Only the tower was finally granted and have not officially changed since.
