Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on January 10, 1956 and continued in 1969. The arms were newly devised in 1956 as no historical arms or seals were known for Bruch-Mühlbach or Mühlbach im Bruch. The water-mill wheel and the wavy bar are canting for the Mühl-back (mill-stream). The reeds are symbolising the Bruch ('moor' or 'marsh') part of the name.
