Von Silber über Rot geteilt, oben eine flugbereite schwarze Rabenkrähe, unten ein silberner, in drei Lindenblätter austreibender Baumstumpf. Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on March 18, 2008. The crow in the upper half is a canting element, the Kraut- part of the name is supposedly derived of the medieval word for crow. The lower half is canting for the -scheid part of the name, as it means a newly cleared part of a forest. The three leaves refer to the three villages Bellscheid, Krautscheid and Ringhuscheid in the municipality. A linden tree was an important part of the village,a s under the central linden tree major decisions were made or pronounced. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
