Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 19, 1962.
The arms are canting and show a fox (German : Fuchs, local dialect : Voss) on a blue field with two golden points (Winkel=corner). The fox was also taken from the medieval family Von Vosswinkel, whereas the colours are taken from the arms of the Von Boeselager family, which also originated from the village.
