Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 19, 2001.

The trees refer to the Oberkrämer forest after which the municipality is named. The storks are taken from the arms of the Havelland district and storks are also common in the area. The base shows the hilly landscape (division line) with waters (blue) and fields (gold).
